Team Events

Players from the schools participating in the 2013 Belk Bowl enjoy special events throughout the days leading up to the big game. From a shopping spree at Belk's flagship store at SouthPark to the Belk Bowl's signature event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, teams will be shown the best hospitality Charlotte and the surrounding areas have to offer!

Coaches Reception

Location: Quail Hollow Club

Coaches and their families will be welcomed to Charlotte with a small reception at one of Charlotte's most prestigious clubs.

Players' Shopping Event at Belk

Location: Belk-Southpark
Date: Monday, December 23rd

At Belk's flagship store in SouthPark, players will have the unique opportunity to shop for their own bowl gifts. Belk will have special displays of electronics set up in the men's department, along with an expansive Big & Tall section specially set up with the players in mind.

Charlotte Motor Speedway Outing with the NASCAR Racing Experience

Location: Charlotte Motor Speedway
Date: Tuesday, December 24th
Time: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

The signature event of the Belk Bowl for the participating teams. All participants will be given a three-lap ride-along with a driver from the NASCAR Racing Experience. In addition, players will get a look at the CMS facilities, play interactive games and have a tire-changing competition between team members. Each head coach will be presented with a special souvenir.

Team Autograph Party

Location: Team Hotels- The Westin Charlotte Hotel and The Hilton Charlotte Center City
Date: Wednesday, December 25th

Each school will have the opportunity to trade autographs within their team by signing footballs with the school logo, Belk Bowl logo and game date.

Media Day at Fuel Pizza

Location: Fuel Pizza - On the Green Uptown
Date: Friday, December 27th
Time: 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.

The official media function of the Belk Bowl, media day at Fuel Pizza will be the last opportunity for media to interview the head coaches and selected players before the game. Media will be treated to lunch after the teams leave.
