Charlotte Sports Foundation Announces Launch of New Collegiate Seat License Program

Guarantees same seats for all college football games brought to Charlotte by CSF

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Sports Foundation (CSF) today announced an innovative new Collegiate Seat License (CSL) program, which guarantees fans the same seats for every college football game hosted at Bank of America Stadium by CSF. As part of the program’s introduction, CSF is offering a promotional period now through September 1, 2014 and allows fans to join the CSL program for no extra fee. After September 1st, the CSL will have a cost in addition to the price of the tickets.

“Hosting many outstanding college football games has created a growing demand for tickets,” said Will Webb, Executive Director of the Charlotte Sports Foundation. “Fans have requested the ability to buy the same seats for all the games we host. With the CSL, we are able to accommodate their wishes. Fans can now guarantee the same seats for all games brought to Bank of America Stadium by CSF. And for a limited time there will be no additional cost to fans, only the price of the tickets.”

The CSL program encompasses the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship, the Belk Bowl and all neutral site games hosted by the CSF. It includes next year’s Labor Day weekend game between the University of North Carolina and the University of South Carolina, and the recently announced University of Tennessee and West Virginia University game in 2018.

Being a CSL owner allows fans to purchase some of the bests seats in the stadium that have previously been reserved, and owning a CSL will be the only way to renew seats for each game. CSL contracts run from 2014 to 2019, and will automatically include more exciting football games coming to Charlotte as they are announced. CSL’s are limited so fans should act quickly.
