Applying for Media Credentials
Belk Bowl Credential Policy
The deadline to submit a credential application is
Tuesday, December 24 at 4:00 p.m. ET.
The Belk Bowl credential policy is designed to best allocate credentials in order to maximize coverage in a safe, professional working environment. Unfortunately, it is not possible to accommodate all requests.
Credential requests are considered only for authorized full-time, salaried representatives.
All unaffiliated freelance journalist/photographers must have an assignment editor from an established media outlet apply for them to be considered.
Subject to limitations of space, credentials will be assigned to accredited media in accordance with the following general priorities:
• Media outlets which have covered ALL games of a participating team.
• Media outlets which have covered all HOME games of a participating team.
• Media outlets at the game site which regularly cover the Belk Bowl on a year-round basis.
• Media outlets that have covered the Belk Bowl nationally on a year-round basis.
PHOTOGRAPHY USAGE RIGHTS
By accepting a media credential, all journalists agree that their photographs will ONLY be used for news coverage by the media outlet(s) for which they are credentialed. No resale – whether for profit or not – of game photography inside the stadium to third parties (including the public via direct sale, website, eBay, or other means) is permitted without written permission from the Charlotte Sports Foundation. This includes any digital or print copies.
Photos may not be used for any other programming, direct or indirect commercial tie-ins, or endorsements, or in any products intended for retail sale without written permission from the Charlotte Sports Foundation. Photos may only be used under limited license as expressly authorized under these guidelines.
Any person or entity who wishes to use any name, trademark, tradename, logo, symbol or any other intellectual property right of the Belk Bowl must first obtain the prior written consent of the Belk Bowl to any such use.
The Belk Bowl and its affiliates do not allow any unauthorized use of any such property rights and do not grant permission for any unauthorized use of any such property rights. For more information or if you have any questions regarding this or any other usage issue, please contact Will Pitts at firstname.lastname@example.org.
